The Co and the Wallace Collection in premiere symphony performance

Sunday (24 August) sees the cooperation band join the Wallace Collection for a special performance of a newly-transcribed work as a full symphony for brass.

This unique event will mark the first performance of Giovanni Gabrieli’s Invisible Symphony, the complete Canzone et Sonate 1615 re-imagined through the pen of John Wallace CBE.

This premiere performance, conducted by Bede Williams, will see the band set into four choirs playing selected movements in various combinations, with the quintet as a fifth choir. A true surround-sound experience for the audience!

Guaranteed to be a memorable evening, the concert commences at 8pm at the Stockbridge Paris Church, 7B Saxe-Coburg Street, Edinburgh EH3 5BN.
