Spaces for brass players on NYWO course
Friday 24 January 2025The National Youth Wind Orchestra has vacancies for brass players for its residential course on 3-9 August at Stamford School in Lincolnshire.
Players aged up to 21 are invited to apply for the course which offers a type of training not available anywhere else, with an impressive line-up of tutors and an internationally-renowned wind orchestra conductor coming from the California Institute of Technology (CalTech) in the US.
“We're keen that as many players as possible have the opportunity to apply,” says NYWO artistic director Louisa Denby.
“We have rolling applications open until 30 January (and may consider late applications), but students are strongly advised to register their interest here as soon as possible, and then submit their audition videos.”
