Dunaskin in search for new resident conductor

Dunaskin Doon Band is seeking a resident conductor to work closely with musical director Paul Drury to improve and progress the band.

The 1st Section Ayrshire-based band is offering the successful candidate well-attended rehearsals, friendly, hard-working players and a supportive and proactive committee.

Based in its own band hall in Mossblown, the band rehearses on Monday and Thursday evenings.

The vacancy has arisen as Scott Walker has decided to spend more time with his family and concentrate on Kilmarnock Concert Brass where he is MD. He also plays cornet with the cooperation band.
