Whitburn and friends in open rehearsal before Scottish Championships

Whitburn Band will be hosting an open rehearsal with Bo'ness & Carriden and Whitburn Heartlands on Friday evening ahead of their participation in the Scottish Championships over the weekend.

Whitburn Heartlands, under the baton of Stephen Duncan, will rehearse and perform the third section test piece Facets of Glass by Gordon Langford, followed by Bo’ness & Carriden, conducted by Charlie Farren, who will work on the first section test Spectrum by Gilbert Vinter.

Whitburn, under the musical direction of Professor Nicholas Childs, will bring the evening to a close with their rehearsal of Wilfred Heaton’s Contest Music.

The event, which is free to attend, will be held at the Brucefield Church in Whitburn, starting at 7.30pm.
