Adjudicators announced for the 2022 Scottish Championships
Tuesday 18 January 2022The adjudicators for the Scottish Championships – the 2022 National Championships regional qualifying contest which will take place in Perth Concert Hall over the weekend of 12/13 March – have been announced by the Scottish Brass Band Association.
Bands in the 3rd Section will be the first to play on the Saturday, performing Facets of Glass by Gordon Langford under the adjudication of Helen Douthwaite and Sandy Smith. The 2nd Section adjudicators of The Aeronauts by Goff Richards will be Sheona Wade and John Doyle, followed by the 1st Section performances of Gilbert Vinter’s Spectrum which will be adjudged by Sandy Smith and Sheona Wade.
On the Sunday the 4th Section adjudicators of Argos by Stephan Hodel will be John Doyle and Sandy Smith and for the Section 4b non-contesting youth / junior bands SBBA education officer John Boax will be in the box.
Rounding off the weekend, the Championship Section band performances of Wilfred Heaton’s Contest Music will be adjudicated by Sandy Smith and Sheona Wade.
