Test pieces announced for 2022 regional championships

The test pieces for next year’s regional qualifying contests for the National Brass Band Championships have been announced by Kapitol Promotions.

In the Championship Section, bands will be playing Contest Music by William Heaton; in the 1st Section, the selected music is Spectrum by Gilbert Vinter; the 2nd Section choice is Aeronauts by Goff Richards; Facets of Glass by Gordon Langford is the test for the 3rd Section; and for the 4th Section Argos by Stephan Hodel has been chosen.

The 2022 Scottish Championships will be held on the weekend of 12/13 March at the Perth Concert Hall.
