Coalburn plans some Disney Magic to raise funds for young people’s charity

Coalburn Silver Band has announced that it will be putting on a ‘Disney Magic’ virtual concert on Friday 18 June, starting at 7pm, to raise funds for the Changing Faces Scotland charity.

The concert will be broadcast from Coalburn’s Facebook page and on its YouTube channel.

Changing Faces is a charity close to the Coalburn banding family’s hearts as one of its inspirational young people, Hannah Archibald, is also a Changing Faces young ambassador. You can listen to an interview with baritone player Hannah by 4barsrest here.

The band is delighted to be able to present this concert as a fundraiser for the charity that supports young people with visible differences. It provides specialist wellbeing and counselling services helping people get practical and emotional support to cope with their appearance, alongside providing life-changing skin camouflage and education services.
