Runner-up successes for Lochgelly and Langholm

Many congratulations to Lochgelly and Langholm Town bands on their runner-up successes in the Foden's online Whit Friday Championships.

Lochgelly, playing the march Viva Birkinshaw, took the second spot in the 2nd section (and 44th overall) while Langholm also came in second in the 3rd section (and 65th overall) with Star Lake. Annan Town was placed fifth in the 2nd section (and 48th overall) and Galashiels Town was fourth (and 67th overall) in the unregistered category.

In the overall results, Kirkintilloch Kelvin were placed a creditable 13th, Unison Kinneil 15th, Bo’ness & Carrden 18th and Selkirk Silver 51st out of an entry of 119 bands.
