Timings announced for lower section finals in Cheltenham

Kapitol Promotions has announced the timings for the Sections 1-4 Finals in The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse:

SATURDAY 18 SEPTEMBER
Section 3: draw 08:15, contest commences 09:30
Section 1: draw 13:30, to commence 15:45 and finish 21:30

SUNDAY 19 SEPTEMBER
Section 4: draw 08:15, contest commences 09:30
Section 2: draw 12:30, to commence 14:45 and finish 21:00

Timings cannot be guaranteed at this stage as there is still a lot of uncertainly surrounding the level of safety measures that will be required at the event. However, these times are provided as a guide for competing bands and supporters.

More information will be released in due course.

The Championship Section Final will take place at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on Saturday 2 October. Representing Scotland will be Bon-Accord Silver, the cooperation band and Whitburn Band.

In the lower sections, flying the flag for Scotland will be Bathgate and Kingdom Brass in Section 1, Annan Town and St Ronan’s Silver in Section 2, Croy Silver and Langholm Town in Section 3, and Kilmarnock Concert Brass in Section 4.
