Band video will mark ‘Clap for Carers’ anniversary

To mark the first anniversary of the start of ‘Clap for Carers’, Brass Central Strathearn are putting out a video to thank those in their community who have worked tirelessly through the Coronavirus pandemic to help others.

The band has put together a video of members playing Local Heroes, a piece of music written by musical director Tom Smith, with a montage of photographs showing some of the places that have kept the community going during the past year.

The video will be broadcast on BSC’s Facebook page and on YouTube on Friday (26 March).

“The video gives us the chance to say Thank You to all those wonderful people in our community – NHS and care staff, front line workers, volunteers and everyone else who deserves a special shout out – who have worked so hard during the pandemic,” says band chairman Jim Wishart.

“We hope you will enjoy it and will send your support to our members who are missing playing as a live group.”
