Schools closure leads to remote instrumental group teaching

Thursday 7 January 2021

Following the news that schools in Scotland are not due to reopen soon, the Music Education Partnership Group (MEPG) is introducing instrumental remote group teaching for music students in Scotland.

This is an initiative that was due to be started by MEPG later in the year but, in light of the current tightening of Coronavirus lockdown restrictions, the first of these teaching sessions has been brought forward to tomorrow, Friday 8 January, from 10am to 12noon.

The training will be delivered by Arlene Macfarlane from East Ayrshire Council. While there is no need for staff to sign up, you can find the session on Eventbrite at https://zoom.us/j/97191537968?pwd=WGczcHhoTWhmSGQrdVYyQzZFREhKZz09
The passcode is MEPG.

For further information, you can contact Mae Murray at MEPG at mae.murray@mepgscotland.org, telephone 07887 795713.
