More cooperation as band strengthen for Scottish Championships

The cooperation band have made a few signings and welcome back some experienced faces as they go into the last week of preparation for the Scottish Championships in Perth next Sunday. Strengthening the cornet section are two vastly experienced players Alex Ramsay and Scott Walker who between them have a few Scottish winners medals.

The band are also pleased to welcome new signings Andy Mcindoe cornet, Kenny Brown BBb Bass, Chris Mansfield Trombone and Robbie Bremner Percussion. Speaking about the new signings a band spokesman said

 “ the last 12 months have been difficult for the band, but the recent support from the Scotmid Cooperative as well as the assistance from Geneva have lifted the spirit of the band and the new signings and welcoming back former players is all having avery positive effect on the band”

Under the baton of Russell Gray the band are working hard and are looking forward to taking to the stage under its new name for the first time.
