Salvation Army Youth Band to hold concert in aid of Vine Trust

Tuesday 20 March 2018

The West Scotland Divisional Youth Band of The Salvation Army is to host a concert this Saturday (24 March) in Rutherglen, the proceeds of which will go to the Vine Trust.

The Youth Band will be joined at the concert by the Erskine Community Gospel Choir and Whitburn principal euphonium player Scott Kerr, with proceedings getting underway at 7.30pm at the Rutherglen Salvation Army. Tickets are priced at £5.00.

The Vine Trust is an international development charity which enables volunteers to provide medical, home-building and care support to communities living in severe poverty in Tanzania and Peru. Fiona Henderson, a member of the youth band, will be travelling to Tanzania with her school this summer.
