Final call for young composers, help celebrate NYBBS@60

2nd Young Scottish Composers Competition 2018
This year NYBBS celebrates it's 60th birthday so our competition is for you to compose a new march, which will be performed at the NYBBS@60 celebration concert.
The competition is open to young Scottish Composers, up to the age of 23, who are invited to submit an original march composition for brass band.
The scores should be submitted in PDF format along with an MP3 recording.
A panel of judges will choose the top 3 compositions, with prizes of £1000 (1st) £500 (2nd) and £250 (3rd), with the winning march being premiered at the NYBBS@60 celebration concert, The Albert Halls, Stirling on the 29th July 2018. The winning composers will also be offered mentor sessions with well-known composers.
The closing date for entries is 1st March 2018.
