Cory Band to perform with NYBBS at Perth Concert Hall
Friday 5 January 2018The Scottish Brass Band Association (SBBA) is delighted to announce that the world famous Cory Band will appear in concert at the Perth Concert Hall on Wednesday 4 April alongside the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS).
As part of the NYBBS Easter Course this year, funded by Creative Scotland's Youth Music Initiative (YMI), five tutors from Cory will work with the NYBBS band on Tuesday 3 April before being joined by the rest of the world's number one band the following day for the Perth brass showcase.
The first band ever to be Quadruple Champions in 2016 - simultaneously holding the UK National, British Open, European and Brass in Concert titles - Cory has maintained its status as the number one brass band in the world consistently for the last decade. This is a truly wonderful collaboration between Scotland's young future stars of NYBBS and the inspirational Cory Band.

The NYBBS Easter Course will run from Monday 2 April to Thursday 5 April and is open to all 14-year-olds and above who have applied for the 2018 Summer Course.
