Borders full to the brim

The Borders College campus in Galashiels will play host to the 2016 Borders Entertainment Contest.
BANDS have been advised that the 2016 Borders Entertainment Contest has reached its capacity of 20 bands.
The event, which is taking place in Galashiels on November 5, has generated considerable interest and organiser the Scottish Borders Brass Band Association (SBBBA) will accept entries for a reserve list on a first come, first served basis.
Bands which have been successful with their entries should have received an email from Christine Calvert, SBBBA contest secretary, confirming their places.
