Borders contest reminder

The Borders College campus in Galashiels will play host to the 2016 Borders Entertainment Contest.
BANDS have been reminded to submit their entries for the 2016 Borders Entertainment Contest as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.
The call, from the Scottish Borders Brass Band Association, came as it was revealed only a handful of spaces remain for the event at the Scottish Borders Campus, Galashiels, on Saturday, November 5.
Michael Fowles and Mareika Gray will adjudicate at the contest, which will see bands performing 15 minute programmes including a piece of original music written for a musical.
