Youngsters set for Borders workshops

Young brass players have been invited to a day of music making in the Borders.

TALENTED young brass players in the Scottish Borders are to gather for a packed day of music making and workshops.

Held on Sunday, April 24, the event is organised by the Scottish Borders Brass Band Association and will see players gather in Langlee Community Centre, Galashiels. Players will be split into three bands catering for a wide range of levels of experience under conductors John Boax, Stuart Black and Mark Good.

Proceedings get underway with registration at 9.30am, culminating with a concert featuring all three bands.
