Contest Rules for Solo, Quartet/Quintet and Small Ensemble Contests

Age Groups
  The age of the player as at 1 January immediately preceding the date of the finals (for the national contests, including all area qualifying events for the national contests) or immediately preceding the date of the contest (in the case of all other contests) will determine what age groups players participate in.
