These rules govern all contests and organisations in Scotland. | |

These rules supersede all previous rules and shall operate with effect from 1 January 2005. | |

Alterations and additions to these rules may be made at any meeting of the Committee. The Secretary of the Association will issue written notification of all alterations and additions to these rules to all organisations at the earliest opportunity following the meeting of the Committee at which any alteration or addition to the rules is approved. The effective date for implementation of the amended rules will be set by the Committee having due regard for the need to intimate the amended rules to all organisations. | |

It is the responsibility of all organisations to ensure that their members are aware of all rules and the potential consequences of breach of the rules. Ignorance of the rules will not be regarded as an excuse or reason for breach of any rule. |
