Any band or organisation holding a contest must conduct it in accordance with the rules of the Association. Subject to rule 6 of the foregoing section, the organisers must arrange for an official representative of the Association to be present at the contest, whose duty it shall be to see that the rules are strictly adhered to. | |

The official Association representative shall submit a report to the Committee at its first meeting thereafter. | |

The expenses of the officials in attendance must be paid by the organisation holding the contest, all in accordance with rule 6 of the foregoing section. | |
4. |
These rules will not apply if and insofar as a waiver may be granted by the Committee for events which do not require normal registration procedures. |
