Cornet Prodigy Set For Glasgow

Young cornet superstar James Fountain will be in Glasgow on Saturday 7th March as guest brass soloist at Govan Salvation Army's Spring Festival. Hosted by Govan Young People's Band & Singing Company (Junior choir), The Spring Festival has been an annual event for the last number of years and has in the recent past featured tuba stars Ben Dixon and Les Neish. James will be joined for the evening by vocal soloist Adam Hall from The Salvation Army's Maidenhead Corps. Govan Citadel Band will also be contributing as well as accompanying James in his solo presentations.

 

James attends Kettering Salvation Army and is currently Principal Cornet with The Virtuosi GUS Band, Northamptonshire County Youth Band & The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.

 

The event takes place in Govan Citadel Salvation Army Hall on Golspie Street, Govan, Glasgow and commences at 7pm
