Passing of Colin Crozier

It has been announced that Colin Crozier, Bandmaster at St. Boswells Concert Band, passed away last week after battling illness for most of last year.

Chairman of St. Boswells Concert Band, Kenneth Gunn commented: “Colin was a man with a lifetime of achievement and participation in the brass band movement, both here in Scotland and in New Zealand, and he will be deeply missed. Most of St. Boswells Concert Band will be in attendance on Friday and any members of other bands would be most welcome to come along and pay their respects to a loyal and talented servant of the brass band community.”

A funeral service will take place at 12.00 noon on Friday, 3 March in Denholm Parish Church. It is to be noted that there are to be family flowers only and there will be no retiring collection.
