Death of Tom McCrone

THE death has been announced of popular Scottish bandsman, Tom McCrone.
The 50-year-old passed away after a long battle with illness.
Tom enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the Scottish brass band scene, performing with bands including Co-op Funeralcare, Whitburn and Kirkintilloch.
The thoughts of everyone at the Scottish Brass Band Association (SBBA) are with Tom's wife, Audrey, and the rest of the family at this time.
