Bands gathered in Troon for Land o' Burns Brass in Concert.

 

CELEBRATIONS were in order for Co-op Funeralcare Band after it triumphed at the 2016 Land o' Burns Brass in Concert contest.

The Glasgow band, under the baton of Allan Ramsay, came out on top at the event in Troon on Saturday, August 27, after impressing adjudicator Les Neish. Kirkintilloch Kelvin Brass came second, conducted by Charles Keenan, ahead of Whitburn Band, with Craig Anderson at the helm.

Ten bands took part in the competition, which is organised by Dalmellington Band.
