Results: Fife Brass Band Festival 2016

Newmains and District Band came out on top in the fourth section contest in Dunfermline.

 

BANDS from sections one to four have gathered in Dunfermline for the 2016 Fife Brass Band Festival.

The event, which took place in the town's Carnegie Hall on April 23, saw Newmilns and Galston, Ellington Colliery, Buckhaven and Methil, and Newmains and District Band come out on top in their respective sections.

It came after they impressed adjudicator, Archie Hutchison with own choice entertainment programmes which all featured a piece by Scottish composer and arranger, Alan Fernie.
