Coalburn Silver Band

Coalburn Silver Band will hold an open rehearsal at the band hall Coalburn on Tuesday 27th May 2008. 7.30p.m. onwards.

Penicuik, Newtongrange and Peebles bands will be taking part in this years parade.

The St Ronans Tattoo

Traquair House, Nr. Innerleithen, Scottish Borders 12 noon - 5.00pm

Set against the majestic backdrop of Traquair House, The St. Ronan's Tattoo is one of the Borders premier musical events. This year's event will feature brass bands and pipe bands as well as the Arendal Big Band from Norway, all playing music throughout the afternoon. In addition there will be a inflatables, kids entertainer, food, beer tent and lots more. To celebrate 500 years of print in Scotland, mini printers’ workshops provided by staff from Robert Smail’s Printworks will be available. The Tattoo performance itself is the finale to the day at 4.00pm on Traquair’s historic avenue and will be narrated by Alasdair Hutton, the voice of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
